The six Cordoma Brothers Louie, Joe, Mario, Ross, John and Frank started the trucking business Cordoma Brothers Transport in 1977 in Robinvale, Victoria.
In the beginning their fleet consisted of only two trucks that serviced the Melbourne and Sydney markets carting produce that was grown by the family. The company and fleet grew over time and included carting produce for other growers.
In 1984 Louie and Mario purchased land at Irymple, Victoria and this became a site for the second Depot. The business increased and became popular with the locals and thrived in both locations.
2004 saw the brothers all take different positions on a variety of properties all over Australia and the next generation changed the name of company and reopened as LRT/VCT in 2007.
Vince Cordoma, son of Louie (VCT) alongside Dean Leslie, brother-in- law (LRT) have grown the business further and with hard work and determination it continues to have its popular reputation amongst the growers in the greater Sunraysia area.
The fleet now consists of a total of 30 plus Prime Movers.
LRT/VCT currently employs 95 people and all of our Office Administration, Local Pick up and Line Haul Drivers are locals.
